For the second year in a row, Hedgehog has been named as finalist for the Business of Good awards hosted by BCBusiness. We are proud to be recognized in the Thought Leadership category to highlight the contributions from our team on sharing their expertise through community engagement, written content, and webinars.
Our appetite for thought leadership increased early on during the COVID-19 pandemic which brought uncertainty to the global market. Our team pivoted to share their knowledge on other platforms to offer value for readers. This past year has been an incredible learning opportunity for our team to discover their resilence in adapting to the ‘new normal’.
Recap of 2020 awards
Last year, Hedgehog attended the first annual Business of Good awards to receive runner-up in the Indigenous Relations category. This was an extravagant event with food, drinks and a bevy of inspirational stories that showcased what local firms are doing to make our province a better place to live.
The winner East Side Games was selected for their outstanding initiatives to bring more Indigineous youth into the gaming industry and supporting events to elevate the Downtown Eastside. Their inspring story is one of many that graced the stage that evening.
What are the Business of Good awards?
The Business of Good program is a chance to showcase local firms who make British Columbia a better place to live, work and play. The winners, chosen by a panel of judges and their editorial team, will be featured in an issue of BCBusiness.
Wishing the other finalists luck and we look forward to learning about the other amazing things that others are doing to elevate our province.
